Heeft plexiglas reflecties?

Ja, glanzend plexiglas weerkaatst licht. Bij directe zonneschijn of een lamp ertegenover zie je een reflectie. Hang de print bij voorkeur loodrecht op de lichtbron of kies een mat-acryl als je veel reflectie wilt voorkomen.

Hoe hang je plexiglas op?

De meeste plexiglas-prints worden geleverd met afstandhouders (meestal 4 stuks) waardoor de print 2 cm van de muur staat. Je schroeft de afstandhouders in de muur, hangt de print eraan vast. Lekker stevig, en het zwevende effect geeft extra dimensie.

Wat is het verschil tussen plexiglas en chromaluxe?

Plexiglas is transparant acryl waar de foto op de achterzijde wordt geprint. Chromaluxe is een aluminiumplaat met dye-sublimation print. Beide hebben een glanzende afwerking, maar plexiglas heeft het zwevende effect en chromaluxe is robuuster en lichter.

Hoe lang gaan de kleuren mee?

Met UV-bestendige inkten tussen het plexiglas gaat de print 50 jaar of langer zonder verkleuring mee. Plexiglas zelf vergeelt nauwelijks bij normale binnenverlichting.

Is plexiglas breukgevoelig?

Plexiglas is veel taaier dan glas: het kraakt zelden bij val of stoot. Wel kan het krassen, dus reinig met een zachte microvezeldoek en geen schurende middelen.
