Hoeveel pixels heb ik nodig voor een grote print?

Voor formaten tot 40x30 cm volstaat 2500 pixels aan de lange zijde. Voor 60x40 cm en groter werk je richting 3500-4500 pixels. Telefoonfotos van moderne smartphones voldoen meestal.

Hoe hang ik wanddecoratie op?

Voor lichtgewicht prints werken zelfklevende mounting-strips. Voor zwaardere prints is een schroef met plug betrouwbaarder. De meeste prints worden met ophang-systeem geleverd.

Hoelang gaan de kleuren mee?

Bij printtechnieken met UV-bestendige inkten gaat de print 50 jaar of langer zonder zichtbare verkleuring, mits niet in direct zonlicht.

Welke foto werkt het best?

Helder verlichte fotos met goede compositie en duidelijke hoofdonderwerpen werken het best. Vermijd fotos met veel ruis of via social media gedeeld (gecomprimeerd).

Een droge of licht vochtige microvezeldoek volstaat. Geen schuurmiddelen of agressieve reinigers.
